Conservative, John Bell, Discuses His Life and Music on Vintage Radio
John Bell, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Wirral South was the guest of Vintage Radio, the Wirral on-line station 'for the mature listener', based in Birkenhead.
John discussed his early life in Liverpool 8, his Dad's 48 years working at Cammel Lairds Shipyard and the journey education helped him make via university and and a career in teaching, into politics.
This was interspersed with music from the Beatles, Madame Butterfly, Juke Box Eddie and Swan Lake, ending with Gerry Marsden's 'You'll Never Walk Alone', dedicated to the 96.
Commenting, John said:
"This was a new experience for me but interviewer, Roger Wright, was very supportive.
Vintage Radio is a terrific concept run by hard-working volunteers. I would urge everybody of all ages to tune in.
