1) 2020 Vision

 

Written and Produced by: Karen Bundred

Actors: Richard Bundred and Lynda Morris

Story Line: George the long suffering husband to Audrey, whilst renovating discovers a newspaper dating into the future. He reads about future events and how the world will change. Excited he also learns that he is to become famous, wealthy and will acquire a 'new' wife. Audrey however, changes the future by taking matters into her own hands or is George drinking too much of their sons 'herbal tea'.

Running Time: approx. 30 minutes

2) The Cleaner

Actors: Richard Bundred and Lynda Morris

Story Line: A lonely man living in Wallasey places an advertisement in the local newspaper.looking for more than just a cleaner and this he gets when Glenda a domestic cleaner, the other side of 50 comes calling.

Running Time: approx. 10 minutes

3) The Moreton Ring Singers

Story Line: Sleepy Moreton is the scene of a new singing group who overnight become celebrities'. Winning their first competition in Wales they are all propelled into success when a catastrophic event happens whilst they are rehearsing. We meet Freda Sidebottom Conductor of the 'Ring' and her husband Fred banned from driving but forever trying his luck. Les Mis, who enjoys dressing up and can be heard running in his 'high heels'. Flo, who is larger than life but always seems to be asleep. Rupert Alexander-Taylor better know as RAT, a seafaring womaniser! Gwyneth the fiery redhead who wears her skirts too short and seems to collect husbands! Isla Kyte the 92 year old smoking and drinking Mother of Les Mis. Oh and then let's not forget Pugsley 'the fat seal' of a dog who loves to nestle into Flo's bossom and suffers from a dodgy tummy!

Running Time: approx. 46 minutes long; this is the omnibus edition and has all the episodes in one programme.

4) The Blues

Programme details:
An introduction of the Blues to give an enjoyable show to:

(a) people who had never heard the blues
(b) people who knew nothing of its history, but had heard some blues and
(c) people who knew something of the music, but who might appreciate a little refresher course or who just would enjoy listening to stuff!

5) Matt & Johns - Morning show - the first one!

6) Arthur Vaughans' Guests

 

Presenter: Arthur Vaughan

Programme details:

(a) Pauline Doyle from the North West Training and Development Team who works with all manner of people but is very interested in working with the elderly. One of her themes is concerned with giving older people more say in the country's affairs since most decisions which affect them are taken by younger people.
(b) Maurice Pursell who was there to talk about the Wirral folk scene, in particular the Bromborough Folk Club and the Wirral Folk on The Coast Festival in June.

7) Alternative housing for people aged 55 and over

9) An interview with Richie Edwards (Experimental Gardens)

Programme details: Richie was a founder member of the popular 80`s band "Experimental Gardens" which broke up when Richie developed cancer and later MS. (Note: We have been given permission by the copyright holder - Richie Edwards, to include the music tracks on this programme.)

10) An interview with Claire Hamilton, BBC Radio Merseyside

Programme details: An interview with Claire Hamilton from BBC Radio Merseyside on her evening Drive Time programme on 7th October, 2009 about Vintage Radio and its Counsel + Care Award. Vintage Radio was represented by Chris Youngman and Mike Pill.

11) The Moreton Ring - Series 2

 

Presenter: Karen Bundred, Julie Flanagan and Glenda Davies

Programme details: In series two it’s non-stop action.  Pugsley is kidnapped by Harry the Hammerhead and he’s side kick Frankie Fingers.  We discover that Gwyneth has some ‘shady’ friends.  New characters are introduced:  Rhys ‘the Grease’ Gwyneth’s brother who carries a metal detector and spade where ever he goes, as he has buried his ‘loot’ and cannot remember where!  Then there is Cher the girl Les is madly in love with.  Rat proposes to Gwyneth and when he is dismissed he takes his broken heart off to sea on his rickety yacht.  The ring does a gig at a hotel in Blackpool and meets up with ‘Marilyn’  who is ‘out of this world’.  The last episode sees the Ring aboard a ship, Les falls overboard and comes face to face with a shark!  The ship hits a little yacht..... yes you guessed right, Rat’s yacht!  They are attacked by pirates and Les saves the day.  The series ends when Gwyneth accepts Rat’s marriage proposal.
